It will all be at Linda Murray’s pole barn at the end of 12 3/4 Ave.\n\nPicnic starts at 4pm with the dance ending at 9pm.\n\nPulled pork sandwiches\, hot dogs\, pop and water will be provided.\n\nWe are asking each family to bring a dish to pass along with any other beverage you would like.\n\n\nFor the auction we will need new donated items\, they can be for adults or children. There will be a few silent auction items and the donated items will be raffled off. Tickets for those items can be purchased for $1 each. DESCRIPTION:Fun Days is an annual event in the Village of Almena\, WI.\nJOIN US FOR THE TRACTOR AND TRUCK PULLING\, FOOD\, BEVERAGES & ENTERTAINMENT! \nThe Community Club will host the tractor pull on the morning of Aug. 6. Registration starts at 9 a.m. and the pull begins at 11 a.m. \nThe Western Wisconsin Truck Pullers Association will host the evening event. Trucks will be registered starting at 5 p.m.\, and the pull starts at 7 p.m. \nAbout 100 to 125 hooks are included in each of the two pulling events. Admission is $10 per person. \nBesides the pulling events\, the Aug. 6 Fun Days celebration will also include: \n• Kids’ sanctioned pedal tractor pull\, 4 p.m. at Shadyside Park. \n• Four Seasons Craft and Vendor Show\, all day\, at the ball field \n• A menu including burgers\, brats\, hot dogs\, cheese curds\, French fries\, ice cream\, and beverages. \nProceeds benefit three groups – all of whom provide volunteers. DESCRIPTION:Lower Turtle Lake Poker Run 2022\nSaturday July 23 \nABOUT THE EVENT: \nThe event will involve first purchasing a poker deck card for $5 per card. You can buy your cards at Klein’s cabin or at dock 1 at the start of the event. (You can purchase as many cards as you would like) You would then continue on to find all docks and get your card signed at each dock. \nThis year we are again keeping the event on the lake. You will need to submit your completed card to the gathering at Klein’s cabin. Dealing will begin at 4pm. You will draw your playing cards based on how many signatures you have. There will be prizes awarded based on best hands and 1 favorite dock. Number and amount of prizes will be determined on number of cards sold) Participants will vote on their favorite dock and may consider such things as: decorations\, treats given ect. (Dock hosts do not have to decorate or hand out treats\, we greatly appreciate them helping out with the event). Make your way up to that boat and get yourself a treat courtesy of the Lower Turtle Lake Association.
